Search The JARVEE Knowledge Base
It’s crucial to capture your target audience’s attention in addition to having excellent content if you want to stand out in your niche on Pinterest. Targeting customers who are interested in what you have to offer by starting with well-known accounts in your niche and following them is one efficient method to achieve this. But doing this can take a while, particularly if the account has a huge fan base.
The Follow tool for Pinterest in JARVEE can definitely help with that. By automating the task of following users, this tool helps you save time and effort. It can help you grow your Pinterest account and achieve greater success by giving you more time to focus on your content and growth strategies.
Navigating the Pinterest Follow tool
To access the Follow tool, navigate to the TOOLS tab, click on your account there, and then go straight to the Follow > Settings tab.
We will walk you through each of the four tabs in this guide to set up your Follow tool:
Settings tab
You can adjust the tool’s behavior and usage frequency from this main control panel. Its five main sections give you the opportunity to personalize your experience. Among these sections are:
Run Timers
- The number of minutes to wait before beginning a new operation determines the interval between each operation.
- How many users to be followed on each operation.
- The time frame in which the Follow tool will operate
- The ability to include a random sleep function, which lets the tool take a break after a predetermined number of executions before initiating a new operation
- The ability to set a time limit for the tool’s pause after a predetermined number of follows are finished
- You can instruct the tool on which particular days of the week it should operate.
The days of operation can be changed and rotated weekly by selecting the Rotate Days option. For example, if you select Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the tool will choose a different set of three days for the next week. You can also decide to remove weekends from the rotation if you don’t want to follow users during the weekends.
Follow Limits
- The Follow feature allows you to set a daily limit. Once reached, it will cease following til the next day. For users who wish to warm up their accounts, you can also set the daily cap to climb gradually until it reaches your daily aim. Just be careful when using this function.
- You can establish an hourly cap with this option; it works like that of a daily cap.
- You can use this feature to tell JARVEE to switch between the Pinterest Follow and Unfollow tools based on specific parameters. Once you have checked the options in both tools, you only need to start one of them. JARVEE will then continue to switch between the tools as needed based on your selections made in the options.
- This allows you to customize the length of time that the search page will scroll while gathering users to follow. Increased scroll duration allows for the extraction of more people, but be careful—too high of a setting could result in timeout issues and lead Pinterest to stop displaying search results.
User Filters
- User has only English characters in Bio, username – If you wish to stay away from following users whose profiles contain characters other than English, select this option.
- User has profile image – To follow users who have an image on their profile, choose this option.
- You can follow users with a variety of followers and followings range by using these two options.
- You can use this option to restrict who you follow to users whose pins fall inside the given x and y parameters.
- User has a follow ratio (followers/following) greater than / User has a follow ratio (followers/following) smaller than – Following users based on their follow ratio can be achieved by utilizing these 2 filters. This technique proves to be beneficial when aiming to follow active accounts. The follow ratio is calculated by dividing the number of followers an account has by the number of people they follow. For instance, if Account A has 2000 followers and follows 4000 accounts, the follow ratio would be computed as 2000/4000 = 0.5, resulting in a follow ratio of 0.5 for Account A.
- User Bio has a minimum of characters – It’s helpful to avoid following bot accounts. You can use this option to follow only if the person has a minimum of X characters.
- If a user has certain words in their bio, username, or name, utilize this option to avoid following them.
After Follow Actions
Here, you have only one option: instead of following the people in order, you can choose to follow random users selected from the extracted list as listed in the Extracted Users page.
Sources tab
Reaching people who are probably interested in what you have to offer is essential if you want to boost conversions on Pinterest. To do this, picking the appropriate sources to target is essential. You may reach a wider audience and raise your conversion rates by following influential accounts that are relevant to you and their followers.
- Follow people by keyword search – Put the keywords in, separating them with commas. Click EXTRACT NOW to begin the extraction of users right now. This will use the following search URL: https://www.pinterest.ph/search/users/?q=marketing or https://www.pinterest.ph/search/users/?q=advertising
- Follow boards by keyword search – To follow the boards you want to follow, type their keyword here. Here, unlike in the previous source, using numerous keywords is not a possibility.
- Follow followers of targeted accounts – After entering the Pinterest URL whose followers you wish to follow, click ADD ACCOUNT URLS.
- Follow followers of own followers – It’s pretty simple; it will go to the followers list of your followers and invite people to follow there.
- Follow people from a provided list – This is similar to following particular users on Pinterest. Simply input the URLs of their Pinterest accounts and select Add to Extracted Users.
- Follow friends of target Boards – This will track the board URLs that you designate and their followers. After selecting ADD BOARD URLS, the links will be indexed beneath.
Extracted Users tab
This page contains the preliminary user list that was derived from the source or sources that you supplied. Here, the names of the people you selected to follow from a list will be added automatically. JARVEE will examine each of these users’ profiles separately to see if the user filters you selected on the Follow > Settings tab apply to that particular user. If the user’s behavior passes your filter or filters, they will be followed. If not, you may view the filters that the user failed here.
You can reset all things with failed filters by clicking on the RESET ITEMS WITH FAILED FILTERS button above if you wish to attempt following a user again after altering your filters.
Results tab
You may view the persons and boards that were followed from this tab, along with further details like:
- The time and date that the user was being monitored
- The user’s name
- Which resource was utilized to track the user
- The “Followed Back” column will indicate whether or not this individual followed you back.
- You can see whether or not you unfollowed these people using JARVEE in the unfollowed column.
You can also import followers, export follow back ratio, export results, and remove results.
✅ One useful statistic that shows you how effective your follow sources are is the follow back ratio. It helps you decide which sources to keep and which to dismiss. The quantity of people who follow you back once you follow them determines this function. Therefore, it is important to keep the sources that attract the greatest number of followers.
✅ You will see that you have the ability to import users that you have personally followed. This will be covered in more detail in the Unfollow tool article and is especially useful for unfollowing people you’ve followed outside of JARVEE.
Consider using the JARVEE Follow tool if you want to expand your online presence and draw in your target audience on Pinterest. This can help you increase your reach and save time, whether your goal is to follow popular accounts in your niche or target individuals who have particular interests.
