This article will answer 2 main question affiliates usually have:
- How to better track the traffic I am sending if it comes from several sources
- What other landing pages on Jarvee you can send traffic to
We know that most of you have several places where you promote our software and you only have your affiliate link so you can’t really know which is converting better and which is worth your time or not, so we thought we give you a little help with that.
From now on you can use custom fields for tracking different places where you advertise your affiliate link. This can be done extremely easy, it only takes a second to modify your affiliate link, the rest is automatic. Let’s take an example so everybody understands better :
Let’s say your affiliate id is this :
Now, to add custom field tracking to the above link, simply add the following:
“XXXX” is the value of the custom field that you want to associate with this link. An example value could be “site1″ in which case the affiliate URL will look like the following:
Now, when a visitor clicks on this link it will obviously know which affiliate sent the traffic but additionally it will track the “site1″ parameter which helps in identifying which site in particular sent the traffic. So you will know for sure which method really sends traffic and which is useless so you can better concentrate on what works.
All you need to do is go to the referrals tab in your affiliate account and see which traffic source is worth it.
Just remember to test the link before you start spreading it so you make sure it’s working correctly and it redirects to the Jarvee site

You should also know that you don’t need to send all the traffic to the main page of Jarvee the way it’s setup in your affiliate account. You can send traffic to any page on Jarvee by changing your aff url a little. All you need to do is get the new page from Jarvee and add your affiliate id at the end with a “/?ap_id=MY-AFF_ID” where MY-AFF_Id is your own affiliate id.
Some pages on the site look good and would probably convert well, like the features pages for each platform. If you have traffic interested in Facebook alone you can send it to that page and it should do well. However not all will be a good fit, so we’ve created a few other pages to act like landing pages. Here they are :
