Without a doubt, Instagram has the most restrictions among the social platforms supported in JARVEE. There are numerous different login states, and some users have experienced their accounts getting stuck in an Initializing state. Here, we’ll go over some methods for restoring your IG account to a Valid status.
The confusing part for users who have reported this issue is that accounts are correctly logged in on the browser, but the status under Social Profiles still reads Initializing.
Before going through the steps below, STOP the account in Social Profiles so that the account will also stop performing API calls.
There are typically two causes for this problem:
Having an old .NET framework version
Your Windows PC must be running on.NET Framework 4.8 for JARVEE to function properly. If you are still using an earlier version, that is one of the reasons why the Instagram account cannot be properly validated.
You can use the Registry Editor to find out which version of .NET Framework you are using:
Go to the Start menu on your computer, select Run, type regedit, and then click OK. (Administrator access is required to run regedit.)
Copy and paste the following subkey into the Registry Editor: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full. Your computer does not have the.NET Framework 4.5 or later installed if the Full subkey is missing.
Look for a REG_DWORD entry named Release. Your computer has.NET Framework 4.5 or later installed if it is present. Its value is associated with a specific.NET Framework version (for reference, see the table here). For instance, the value of the Release entry in the following figure is 5323325, which is the release key for the.NET Framework 4.8.
On the other hand, the Release entry for this PC is 378675, which is the release key for the.NET Framework 4.5.1, indicating that the.NET Framework needs to be updated in this case.
Updating the .NET Framework
By selecting the runtime option, you can download .NET Framework 4.8 from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/net48.
When you open the downloaded file, the installation process will begin. It will prompt you if you follow the instructions and will let you know when the installation is finished.
Then, you must restart your computer for the changes to take effect across all applications.
Using a non-supported Windows OS
If your.NET Framework is already at version 4.8 but the problem persists, you should see if your PC’s operating system is one of those listed here as supported. You must upgrade to at least Windows 7 Service Pack 2 if your current operating system is any other version than those listed there (for example, Windows XP or Windows Vista).
- Windows 7 SP2, 8, 10, or 11
- Windows Server 2016, or 2019 (if on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) or Dedicated Server)
I have Windows 7 SP1
Most Windows 7 users can continue using Su Social without installing a new operating system as long as they are running Service Pack 1. The following steps can be used to switch the Service Pack version to SP2:
- From the Start menu, select Run. Type regedit and select OK.
- Access HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows by using the registry editor.
- Click CDSVersion twice. (Or use the right-click menu to select “modify”)
- Change Data’s value to 200 and then click OK.
- Exit all programs, restart your computer, and look at the My Computer properties if the changes have been applied.
Once you have applied these fixes, you may START the account in JARVEE again, and then see if it turns Valid. If still to no avail, please reach out to our support team.
