Error code 506 means that the embedded browser crashed during the operation.
To fix this issue, please try to follow the step-by-step solutions below carefully. Please try them in their order, don’t jump to the next solution unless the first one didn’t work for you.
Solution 1:
Please follow these steps:
1. Exit Jarvee.
2. Go to Desktop, right-click on Jarvee icon desktop shortcut and click on Open File location.
3. Find the file “2021_03.txt” and delete it.
4. Find the file “Jarvee”, right-click on it, and Run it as Administrator.
After that, Jarvee will download the EB files again to fix the issue. It might take a few minutes to download depending on how fast your download speed is.
Please wait for a few minutes for Jarvee to start and see if that solves your problem.
If not, please go ahead and try the steps in the next solution.
Solution 2:
What AntiVirus are you using and what Windows version you are using?
For the Windows Version:
If you are using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, then, unfortunately, we don’t support your Windows version as it’s very old, please change it to one of the following:
– Windows Server 2012
– Windows Server 2016
– Windows 7 SP2
– Windows 8
– Windows 10
And that may solve your issue.
If you are using our recommended Windows Versions and you still have the same issue, then please keep following the steps below.
For the Antivirus:
If you are using Malwarebytes or Webroot, please uninstall your Anti Virus and restart your computer and then force update Jarvee by following the steps below:
1- Exit Jarvee if it’s running.
2- Go to Desktop, right-click on Jarvee desktop shortcut and click on Open File location;
If you don’t see Jarvee shortcut:
Open C:/ Drive :
In the address bar, type %AppData% and click enter.
Find the Jarvee folder and open it.
3- Look for Updater.exe and right-click it then choose Run as administrator.
If none of the solutions above worked, please check solution 3.
Solution 3:
Please, follow these steps:
1- Exit Jarvee.
2- If you have antivirus on your computer, exclude the Jarvee installation folder from your Anti Virus.
3- Download this file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eszigddxutl8k12/CEF_2021_03.zip?dl=0
4- Copy the file in the Jarvee installation folder.
Before doing this step 5, please go to the Jarvee installation folder and copy the whole folder somewhere on your computer as a backup in case something goes wrong.
5- Extract it to the installation folder (overwrite old files).
Now, run Jarvee again and see if that solves your issue.
