We understand that most of our users out there are not that tech-savvy, and that’s why we made this step by step guide on how to use the embedded browser to send messages in case you are getting temporarily blocked when sending messages through the API.

Our developers released some updates that contain major changes on the EB, they made it mimic the human behavior which should help reduce the number of blocks you get – it has been tested by many of our users and it’s working well for them so there’s no reason why it won’t work for you too –.

When using the embedded browser update we can divide the contact tool into two parts:

The first part is where you need to use a scrapper account (when extracting users from accounts and URLs)

The second part is where you won’t be able to use a scrapper account (when using the send messages to new followers and the auto-reply to new messages tools) since only your account can scrape than info.

The first part:

Extracting users form accounts and URLs requires a lot of API calls which may cause temporary blocks and that is why we suggest using a scraper account for that.

You will need to use a scrapper account to extract users and send them to the Contact tool –> Use Extracted users tab of your Main account. Below, you will find a step by step guide that you can follow to set that up.

Let’s start with a definition of the scrapper/slave accounts:

1- Slave account configurations:

Go to your Slave account Follow tool – Settings Tab, then make sure this option is checked (screenshot below):

Then please go to the Follow Sources tab of your Scrapper/Slave account and add all the sources you want to scrape users from (hashtags, followers of target accounts…)

After that, go to the Follow tool – Extracted Users Tab, click on ADD ACCOUNTS button, then select the Main account then click on OK

Then make sure to check the option to send the extracted users automatically to the Contact tool –> Use Extracted users

2- Main account configurations:

The scraped users will be sent from the Follow tool Extracted users tab to the Contact tool –> Use Extracted users tab of your main account.

Now To make sure your Main account is going to be using only the Embedded browser, please do the following:

Please go to the SOCIAL PROFILE tab, click on your account, your main account then scroll down and check the option Show Advanced Profile Settings.

–  Check the options highlighted in yellow.
–  Uncheck the options highlighted in blue.

Also, go to SETTINGS –> Social Platform –> Instagram Tab The make sure to check the option below:

You can check it to set Jarvee to logout from the Embedded browser when the actions get blocked on the Embedded Browser. That is useful because in some cases when you logout from the account and then log in, the block gets lifted.

Please note that the option above will be applied to all the accounts.

Once you do that, you can start the Follow tool (on the scraper account) and then, the scraped users will be sent to Contact tool –> Use Extracted users tab of your main account.

Once users are there, you can refer to The Instagram Contact Tool guide to see the steps you need to follow from there to start sending messages.

Now for the second part when using the send messages to new followers and the auto-reply to new messages tools:

For these tools, there is no need for a scrapper account, all you have to do is make sure to have the same settings mentioned previously on the main account (screenshot below) 

–  Check the options highlighted in yellow.
–  Uncheck the options highlighted in blue.

Now you can use the “Send Messages To New Followers” and the “Auto Reply To New Messages” tabs and the messages will be sent through the Embedded Browser.

Just make sure to avoid setting the extractions to be done aggressively and to stay below 30 Direct messages per day.
