We understand that most of our users out there are not that tech-savvy, and that’s why we made this step by step guide on how to use the slave / main account method for the Follow & Story viewer tools in case you are getting temporarily blocked when using them through the API.

Our developers released some updates that contain major changes on the EB, they made it mimic the human behavior which should help reducing the number of blocks you get – it has been tested by many of our users and it’s working well for them so there’s no reason why it won’t work for you too –.

What we’d suggest now is to set your Main accounts to use only the Embedded browser, then add slave accounts to scrape users and send them to your Main accounts.

What is a Scrapper account and what is the use of it?

A scrapper account is just a name that we gave to the account that will be used to extract and scrape users and send them to the Main account (that you wish to grow).

• Why we need a Scrapper account?

We do suggest to use a scrapper account because doing a lot of API calls might get the Main account blocked after the last updates that Instagram released.

So it would be better to configure the Main account to do fewer API calls as much as possible. That’s why we suggest using a dummy account that will be doing those API calls for the Main account.

So all you need to do is create a couple of new accounts and add them to Jarvee. Then use them as Slave/Scrapper accounts.

• How to use the Scrapper account?

The sources you want to target by your Main account, instead of adding them on the Source tab of the Main account as you used to do, you will now add them to the Source tab of the Scrapper account, that way, the scrapper account will extract the users from those sources and send them to your Main account.

This way, the API calls needed to find the suitable users from the sources you target, will be done by the Scrapper account, so the Main account will be doing just the actions you desire.

Below, you will find the step by step guide that you need to follow to set up this method.

How to set the SCRAPPER ACCOUNT to send users to the Main accounts?

1 – Add some slave accounts then set them to scrape users:

What you need to do is to go to the FOLLOW tool Settings tab, then make sure to check the option below on the Settings tab:

Once you click that option, Jarvee will start scrapping users instead of following them, the users will be added to the EXTRACTED USERS Tab, from there you can set Jarvee to send them automatically to your Main Account, Here is How you can do that below:

Go to the EXTRACTED USERS Tab and check the option below:

In the example above, I checked the option to send the users to my Instagram account called “IG Sliel10” Like, Follow and Story Viewer Sources.

What will happen is that Jarvee will send the users that the “Instagram Account 7” extracted to the Follow, Like and Story Viewer specific users source of each of the 3 tools we mentioned above.

We do this to avoid making a lot of API calls by the Main account.

2 – Set your Main account to USE ONLY EMBEDDED BROWSER

What you need to do now is the following:

Go to the Main account and set it to use only Embedded browser then go to the Follow sources and check the option Follow specific users source where the users are added and Jarvee will start following those users.

Check the same source option on each tool you are sending users to on your MAIN account.

To set your MAIN account to use ONLY the Embedded browser, Please go to SOCIAL PROFILE tab, click on your account, then scroll down and check the option Show Advanced Profile Settings. Then check the option below:

You can also check the option highlighted in blue.

You can check them to set Jarvee to logout from the Embedded browser when those actions get blocked on the Embedded browser. That is useful because in some cases when you logout from the account and then log in, the block gets lifted.

When the action gets blocked on the Embedded browser, Jarvee will apply the suspend when temporary blocked for X-Y minutes and after that when the action will be executed Jarvee will make the login on the Embedded browser to execute the action.

You can also use the option below on SETTINGS –> Social Platform –> Instagram Tab, see screenshot below, useful if you want to switch the status of the account to delayed to prevent the account from doing any actions after getting action blocked for x-y minutes.
