Two-Factor Authentication (or 2FA) is a type of multi-factor authentication offered on Instagram and other social platforms. With this added security feature, you can be assured somehow that no one else will be able to access your account.
If you have enabled this extra level of security on your account, you’ll be asked to input a login code to confirm your login attempt whenever you try to access the account from a device that Instagram does not recognize.
How To Enable 2FA On Jarvee
If you wish to enable this feature on accounts you’ve already added to Jarvee, you can go to Social Profiles > click the name of the account > go to Two Factor Authentication tab.
1. Add a Phone Number then click “Request Two Factor SMS”. A code will then be sent to the number you have indicated.
2. When you receive the SMS, add the code in the designated box and click “Enable Two Factor SMS”.
If you have a strong password, then you may choose not to enable Two-Factor Authentication on your account.
If you already have Two-Factor Authentication enabled on your account and you are not able to validate that account when you add it in Jarvee, then you will need to disable two-factor authentication on your account first via Instagram app on your device.
Once it is disabled, you can re-verify the account in Jarvee. When it gets a Valid status, you may then re-enable two factor authentication within Jarvee.
💡 To confirm that the two-factor authentication has been enabled in Jarvee, you should see the message change to “Two Factor authentication is enabled on this account” and the backup codes should be available (refer to the image below).
How To Disable 2FA in Jarvee
If you have enabled Two-Factor Authentication and wish to reverse the process, you can go to Social Profiles > click the name of the account > go to the Two Factor Authentication tab and click the ‘Disable Two Factor Authentication’ button.
💡 Please note that this feature will only work on accounts with Valid status in Social Profiles.
