Here is how to move Jarvee from 1 PC to another PC or VPS:
All the details, campaign information and history of your Jarvee are kept locally on the machine where Jarvee is installed, so in case you want to move your Jarvee to another Computer or VPS a re-install wouldn’t do it.
What you need to do is copy the whole Jarvee folder from your old computer to the new one. This way everything will move over.
In order to do that:
Right-click the Jarvee desktop shortcut and click open file location.
Click on “Roaming”, then copy the Jarvee folder.
You need to move the whole Jarvee folder to your new laptop/VPS, you can do so using:
– a USB if you are moving it to a new PC you bought.
– uploading the folder into Dropbox, Google Drive, MediaFire or similar services and downloading it in the new laptop/VPS. (Make sure you compress it using WinRar or WinZip before you upload it, otherwise, it won’t work).
You can put the Jarvee folder anywhere in your new laptop/VPS, but we recommend against placing it on your desktop as you can accidentally remove it.
Once the folder is moved, open Jarvee by double-clicking “Jarvee.exe” in that folder.
Remember to log out from Jarvee from your old laptop. As you can use Jarvee only in 1 laptop at the same time unless you have purchased a license for 2 PCs.
Here’s how to solve the “You have reached the maximum number of computers you can run your Jarvee account on at the same time.” if you run into it.
Please keep the Jarvee folder on your old computer until you are completely sure that everything is transferred to the new one without any issues.
